A) ENBITECH Services Description

ENBITECH is a Public Charitable Trust registered under B.P.T Act (Registration No. E-13263). We strongly support sustainable development and promote conservation of natural resources without compromising on the need for development. ENBITECH gives its users an opportunity to plant trees in the talukas of Shahapur and/or Murbad, Maharashtra, India for our ‘Plantation with Purpose’ Project. We use internet and associated information technology enabled processes to ensure transparency and visibility. In lieu of our services following points should be noted:

  1. ENBITECH runs a tree plantation and sustainable livelihoods program in association with our ‘Plantation with Purpose’ implementation partner, Terracon Ecotech Private Limited (hereinafter referred as TEPL). We follow a strict due diligence process to select sites for plantation and we do a detailed analysis in order to select local landholders in the regions to carry out and benefit from the plantation in selected locations with help from TEPL.
  2. We leverage services from Ecology and Biodiversity experts at TEPL to select plant species.
  3. ENBITECH and its ‘Plantation with Purpose’ partner, TEPL, will adopt best practices to plant trees and make best efforts to maintain trees post plantation. ENBITECH’S planting partners, TEPL, have substantial experience in planting trees and post-plantation management. They will make their best efforts to ensure that all trees survive. However, ENBITECH and TEPL cannot be held responsible for trees that die through disease, flood, drought, fire, lightning and other such events. ENBITECH and TEPL cannot be held responsible for trees that are illegally felled or are destroyed by grazing in spite of the best efforts made by our planting partners to prevent this. Some of our local planting partners may also replant trees that do not survive, so that the specified number of trees will actually grow.
  4. As soon as a virtual tree is planted on the ENBITECH portal, we will arrange for the plantation of a real tree at the location. However, given that planting may not be possible in certain seasons and the unforeseen on-ground challenges faced by the planting partners, ENBITECH reserves the right to arrange the planting of trees up to six months after the date of your transaction. ENBITECH can sell trees that have been planted in anticipation of orders. ENBITECH will never sell a single tree twice.
  5. ENBITECH does issue a Certificate of Appreciation to all sapling planters.
  6. ENBITECH will follow a strict audit processes to track post plantation growth and survival of planted trees, in line with 6 Impact Indicators (listed on the ‘Plantation with Purpose’ project page).
  7. We will use VrukshSharad+, a proprietary geo-tagging system for trees to track and map individual trees however there might be minor deviation due to unavailability of GPS signals at few places/under few weather conditions
  8. You do not own the tree that you plant and we do not arrange site visits. However, our QR code tracking system will give you location coordinates for your donated sapling, upon scanning which can be looked up. Please note that the QR code will only be generated once the sapling has been planted and initial data has been input into the system.

(B) User License

Permission is granted to use ENBITECH’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

    • Modify or copy the materials
    • Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (other than non-commercial)
    • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on ST’s web site
    • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
    • Transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server

  2. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by ENBITECH at any time. (G) Shipping & Delivery Policy for Services

Delivery of our services will be confirmed on your mail ID as specified during registration.

As soon as a virtual tree is planted on the ENBITECH portal, we will arrange for the plantation of a real tree at the location for the planter who will also be notified about these processes through his/her mail ID. However, given that planting may not be possible in certain seasons and the unforeseen on-ground challenges faced by the planting partners, ENBITECH reserves the right to arrange the planting of trees up to six months after the date of your transaction.

(H) Refund and Cancellation Policy

You acknowledge the fact that services provided by ENBITECH are irreversible i.e. trees once planted can’t be uprooted and this action would be against our work ethics and the environment. Therefore, once the order is placed we do not entertain any refund or cancellations.
